Campaign Methods for Email Clients
Once you've designed your image, gid or video templates, the next step is to distribute them!
Nexweave offers multiple ways to run a campaign so that you can choose the one that is either the most convenient for you to build or the one that best fits your purpose.
The three campaign methods are -
- Bulk Link Campaign
- URL Override Campaign
- Quick Campaign
Let's look at each one in detail ...
This campaign type is recommended when you are
- running a campaign for a verified list
- using a fairly high number of personalization variables
- intending to mask the personalization variables and have short URLs
This steps to run a Bulk Link campaign are -
- Configure the Campaign by mentioning the templates to be used.
- Proceed to the Activate step and select Bulk Link Campaign
- Upload a CSV with all the personalization variables
- Request an updated CSV with additional columns that correspond to Nexweave-powered image and video links.
- Edit and Use the updated CSV with your preferred email marketing or messaging platforms.
To know more, check the specific documents included for each email marketing platforms.
This is the most preferred campaign method, simply because of its ease of use. This method would allow to quickly plug in experience to almost every email marketing, messaging, chatbot or landing page platform.
The steps to run a URL Override Campaign are -
- Configure the Campaign by mentioning the templates to be used.
- Proceed to the Activate step and select URL Override Campaign.
- Mention fallback values for each personalization variable
- Click on Launch Campaign after previewing the experiences with the mentioned fallback values. This would reveal an embed code button.
- Click the Embed Code button & select their preferred email, chatbot or landing page platform and embed the associated code that is generated by Nexweave.
- Click on Copy Code and embed it in emails/chatbots/landing pages to activate the campaign.
The only downside of this method is that URLs can become fairly long. However, if the links are being used to embed the experiences, URLs would not be seen by the users and that makes this technique effective.
This method is ideal when you want to use just a single image or video template for your campaign, and with very few personalization variables.
In this method, you can create a Nexweave link using the Quick Campaign option which is available on the Use Template Page

All you need to do is add a name for the campaign and generate a Quick Campaign. In the example shown below, we have named the campaign as DEMO - Quick Image Campaign

Once you give a name to the campaign and click on the Quick Campaign button, you will get the embed code as well as the Experience URL.

You'll notice that there is a URL in this Embed code - https://images.indusved.com/gKIyIzogU (which is also the experience URL)
If you notice, the template had 2 variables -
USERNAME (set to Christopher)
DOMAIN (set to a default value of hoorayheroes.com)
You can override the URL by adding a URL suffix as ?USERNAME=Amanda to change the name in the image from Christopher to Amanda
As an example, check this link - https://images.indusved.com/gKIyIzogU?USERNAME=Amanda
In case you wish to modify more than one variables, you can do so too! Here is how you can change the domain name as well and see the result -
NOTE - In this case, the embed code contains a URL contains a subdomain images.indusved.com that can be added if you have upgraded your plan to an Agency Plan.
